After turning 60 I noticed that when driving, I needed to take a nap in the afternoon, while driving to 4+ hour destinations. Started taking MitoQ, 2 a day, for several years, which appeared to help maintain a higher energy level. Just to test it, I stopped taking it a month ago, and pretty much immediately needed the nap again. I took a chewy CoQ10, 2 a day, and it did not restore any missing energy. Still needed a break, so I am starting MitoQ again. I don't know about the other positive effects for others, but for me, it really does work for maintaining better energy during the day. No noticable side effects or pain relief, and it is pricey, but for having more energy, it does work.

I feel a bit better its hard to explain they are expensive but seem to be worth it I will buy again.

On pitavastatin, which lowers COQ10 the least among statins, but still use a COQ10 supplement for mitochondrial function, anti-aging. Did the 3-month challenge. I switched from Qunol ubiquinol 200 mg qd/daily to MitoQ 10 mg qd. I'm a professional medical researcher and licensed healthcare professional who can Rx any medication. My 1-star review is for the price and dose and also so people will see it vs a 3-star. 1 star is, however, fair given the price. I understand R&D costs better than anyone as it's my job. They spent a lot of money quite a while ago to develop this yet continue to charge an exorbitant amount for an arguably non-efficacious dose. I see this as their business model which is why I feel the rating is justified.I'm fortunate to have a lot of resources but I can't feel like I'm getting ripped off. I did multiple layers of testing in the past 90d, too much to put into an Amazon review. I can do this for free through work so trust me I spare nothing. Bottom line, zero effect on anything, even decreased COQ10 levels vs ubiqunol 200 mg. I felt nothing but I'm never ignorant enough to evaluate anything based upon my feelings. Even their own data suggest that 20mg is the efficacious dose. Ubiquinol has shown bioavailability as much as twice that of COQ10. So now I've reordered the Qunol ubiquinol 200 mg on special subscribe and save for $11/mo vs $60/mo for MitoQ. There is no evidence or objective marker in the world to justify 5-6x the cost to replenish your COQ10. But everyone has the freedom to spend their $ however they want. Just know if you spend it on this you will actually need 20 mg every day or $110-120/mo. So then it actually becomes 10x the cost, & I can post studies that show head to head (please Google and educate yourself) that 200 mg COQ10 may be as effective as 10 mg MitoQ, So then if on a budget, you'd be looking at 15x the cost for the same effect. If you're rich on statins or just into hardcore anti-aging, I suggest you do the 90 challenge so that MitoQ can recover their R&D once and for all, do the objective testing, and come back and tell me if I'm wrong. For those with fewer resources, hopefully, I have shown you that this is a waste of your money. I don't think you can be any fairer than that. Also of note, even Bryan Johnson, the hardcore anti-aging guy everyone loves to hate, worth 600 million, takes just COQ10.

Too early to tell on the action of the supplement as first time taking it. Capsule size is good and easy to swallow.
