Only took a few minutes to setup and works great.

Super simple set-up. My garage door opener is a pre-2011 model, Overhead Legacy 800 I believe. Has the old "Learn Code" button, versus any of the color ones. Anyhow, the directions were super easy to understand and follow. The keypad kept weirdly doing a long beep once I would try to follow the 3rd step section, but after a few tries of doing the same thing over and over it eventually worked. I drilled some pilot holes in my wood and the screws went right in, no issue. Love that they included batteries, too. Not sure I'm a fan of the fact it has audible beeps, but having them lets me know the keypad is working fine -- rather than me having to guess what the issue might be. Will update when it breaks.Also, should mention, I bought a wireless keypad straight from the Overhead brand and the keypad simply stopped syncing with the opener unit after 6 months. I tried replacing the batteries, factory resetting it, changing the code, etc. Nothing worked. And technical support told my I was SOL because my 60-day warranty expired. Gee, how helpful. I'm hopeful this unit will work much better.

Easy to follow instructions if you need them. Synced up to my Genie door opener first time no issues. Received day after I ordered.

Went through two other universal remotes and neither worked on opener.

This worked fine for about 3 months. Now it works one day and not the next. Makes no sense but when it is not working you can try it 100 times and does not work then 5 minutes later works. Tried removing battery to reset but does not help. There is no warranty shown and no way to find warranty i formation or contact company however they likely do not speak English. Past Amazon return date. Boat anchor now. Should have bought OEM.
