Patience is needed when setting up Alexa and Google but the TV itself is first class, starts up from a second the command is given to Alexa (see video) setting up the TV was a breeze and I like how you can input the names of devices connected to the 2 HDMI inputs, there is another HDMI for arce too which all worked well first time. I have not needed to tweek anything as Philips did a good job of that already. Picture quality is great especially when using HDMI as I don't watch live TV. The interface is properly set up nicely, almost like a firestick and a joy to use. The sound is also fantastic with Atmos. I have the sound sent to the soundbar though as I like the back speakers behind me to give the room a fuller sound. Also, the feet that came with it did not need replacing, they are very sturdy and heavy and not the normal plastic type. The remote control is also heavy and well built. Philips have done themselves proud I am so glad I chose this one. However there is no blue light protection built in or anti glare but I find this with most TVs.

The smart features are incredibly slow which is frustrating. Picture quality, sound and price are all good.However the 1 star review is because the opening screen is showing me an advert. Why are Phillips pushing adverts in my face?

Very easy to set up and use. We like the feature where you can set up subtitles or take them off from the controller. Picture and sound is excellent on hi and uhd. Was not expensive to buy on Amazon either, especially considering the quality of the product.

Good quality set for the price should get over 10 years with this one as I did with the last Phillips and that’s still running.

I bought this TV to replace a Samsung. perhaps I should have stayed with them. I only use my TV to watch streaming i.e. no live TV. This TV comes with streaming apps already installed. I can't see a way to take those I don't want off i.e. anything by the BBC. The TV is slow to 'boot up' and I regularly have to turn it on and off several times as it is so slow to connect to WiFi. It is not possible to open UKTV Play directly as there is no app for it, which is a shame. However, it is available through the Freeplay app. That being said after a month or so this failed to work and I had to get in touch with Philips who, after some tooing and froing, sent me some instructions and a link to a dedicated software update. Fortunately I am computer literate and have access to laptops and USB's etc. However, those who cannot find their way around a computer would have huge problems doing this. I have elderly relatives and friends who would find this impossible. This TV is not Android which gives it particular limits. One such limit is that you cannot get NOWTV on it without using a firestick or other external device. There are probably many other apps you cannot get. If I were to be in the position to buy a TV again, based on my recent experience, I would not buy this TV.

Overall i am quite happy with the tv, it has a great picture with a number ways to personalise its features for the individual taste, it was easy to set up as the ports are easy to reach, set up was simple once the set was switched on, just a question and answer routine, however my set didn't come with an instruction manual for the remote, after visiting the web site i downloaded a manual which made navigation a great deal easier, maybe it is normal to not include said manual or it may have been in the product description and i missed it, all in all i'm happy with the equipment......

Die Anlieferung von dem TV von Amazon war einwandfrei und das Gerät war unbeschadet und mit allem was dazu gehört. Bild und Ton für die Preisklasse Spitze mehr kann man nicht erwarten. Anschlüsse alles vorhanden was man so braucht in der Heutigen Zeit außer ein 3,5 Klinkenstecker Anschluss habe ich vermisst. Menüführung, Update Funktion, Apps Funktionieren einwandfrei und der TV sieht auch noch sehr gut aus 👍 Ich kann das TV Gerät nur empfehlen.
