Victorinox3.25 Inch Swiss Classic Paring Knife with Serrated Edge, Spear Point, Black

I got this on the ATK recommendation and I’m glad I did. It’s a great little paring knife, working well. I especially like that it’s a little longer than some - when I need to pierce an onion or cherry tomato in a hot pan I don’t have to worry as much about splatter.And it’s PINK! That doesn’t really matter. Cooking is work and I want the best tool. But if the best tool happens to be PINK…Yay.Also, it’a cheap. Woot!I recommend it, for sure. I’d give it six stars.

First few times holding this knife I was very concerned about how light weight it was. I just couldn't get comfortable. Hello after a few times I didn't think about it anymore. The knife is excellent. I can cut the thinnest slices without any difficulty.

WOW! Amazing! This tiny knife is so much better than I thought! The handle could be better, but for the price it is exactly what is needed.

Purchased these to replace our older ones. These are great little, “dishwasher-safe” knives. However, we had the others for less than a year, and they were starting to show signs of wear (chipped blades and a small amount of rust on one). I also didn’t pay close enough attention to the blade size; these are shorter than our old ones. Honestly, I kind of prefer the shorter ones though. Overall, I’m not sure you can find better “dishwasher-safe”, sharp paring knives for a better price. I don’t necessarily like that these are essentially disposable (probably due to putting them in the dishwasher so often), but we already have four nice knives and other kitchenware we have to hand-wash. Not looking to add anything more to that chore. So if you buy these intending to put them in the dishwasher after each use, keep in mind you will probably have to replace them after about a year due to wear. Side note: I sharpen them regularly along with our nicer knives. I truly think the dishwasher just destroys any knife over time even if the manufacturer claims it is dishwasher-safe. I think they expect you to put them in the dishwasher sparingly only or when you’re pressed for time rather than after every use. This is why I have put “dishwasher-safe” in quotes.

This knife is such a value! My purchase was a replacement as I inadvertently threw my old one in the trash. Nice size for smaller hands, stays sharp longer. And the price can’t be beat. The quality is a testament to Victorinox, the company that makes the Swiss Army knives.
