Kingnex 4 Pack Feather Proof Pillow Protectors with Zipper Standard Size - Waterproof - Down Proof - Bamboo Viscose Terry Surface

So I bought this protector because my feather pillow pokes me in the face with its quills. So I wanted a feather proof cover. It definitely does that, water and drool proof. The inside sounds like a plastic sheet, so it does all that.My only problem with this cover is that it blocks everything, even air. So when trying to fluff it it feels like a balloon trapping the air in it, so I have to hold it until the air comes out. Alot like emptying out an airbed. Maybe ill unzip it 1/2 inch to let air escape.

I looked at all the so called feather proof pillow covers on Amazon and these were the only one's seemed most people said they didn't get feather pokes after them. Well the reviews were right. I have had them on my 6 cheap feather pillows that were driving me crazy with feathers all over the bedroom and pokes while I slept. I would pull them all out and wash them and start over again. These cases work, plain and simple, I don't know how but I no longer get poked by my feathers. They are not noisy to sleep on, they have a semi terry cloth cover but then that goes in my regular pillow case. They are large, queen is larger than my pillows, but no worry to me, and i leave the zipper open half an inch to let air out of them which kind of works. No matter, my pillows are my favorite again/now. I love the squishy comfort of feather/down but hate the feathers. I couldn't afford pure down pillows at $200 each so this with my inexpensive Grand hotel feather/down pillows is a great answer for me.I had to addon after reading the June 13, 2021 review below that shows all the feathers, seriously No feathers have come through mine in the 4 weeks I've had them. Adding a photo of what they look like on waking with the cases pulled back, 0 feathers. Not sure if hers were defective or something seems very odd, several previous reviews showed no feather problems after buying them also and if I had seen that review I might not have purchased and I'm so happy with them. Hopefully she returned them as they do have a 10 year guarantee.

Product clearly states 70% bamboo in add, receive the product and it says cotton only. Just plain misleading. Very cheap product!

I would not trust these to contain or keep out bedbugs since these protectors have a standard zipper & not the type w/ tight teeth designed to keep bed bugs out.But I will say that these protectors are waterproof and made of a sturdy & thick material.It just sucks that these protectors did not work for my down pillows. The pillow fit & the zipper works but whenever I lie down on my pillow w/ the protector on it the pillow will completely flatten out to the mattress & will lose all of its plushness.These protectors make my pillows unsupportive & uncomfortable.

We have down/feather pillows that we love but really dislike the poking from them coming thru our pillowcases SO we decided to buy these to keep from getting poked. Fortunately they do keep us from the pokes BUT the size is off. We have Q pillows and ordered Q size cases but they are too big and our pillows now slide around inside them and it’s even more irritating than the poking was. So.......???

These get the job done. I have only had just a couple feathers make their way through. The outside is kind of like a light terry cloth. It does have that puffy/deflating thing that waterproof covers get, but it’s pretty minimal. I haven’t gotten it wet, but since a few feathers made it through I can only conclude that it’s not completely waterproof.Of all of the down pillow covers I’ve tried, this one works the best.

I got them because rats werechewing my bed apart. Pillows were taking a beating man!! I got these to keep from buying more pillows, but the rats had other ideas... Meh..

I ordered these to use as a cover for Down pillows to prevent feather pricks from those rascally feathers trying to escape. Used to be, you could get thick ticking covers to use (Like a hickory shirt), but I do not see them for sale on here. These are so thin I'm doubting they will last past a first wash and as to the feathers, we'll see. They advertised as feather proof, but nothing said about it on the paperwork/labels that came with the pillow covers. I find that strange. I'll try one to see but I'm thinking these may go back.
