This is a really awesome little portable compact disc player!! I've listened to it for hours and hours for a couple of days now and I am prepared to give it a proper review. The sound is crisp and extra great to me, because it has a bass boost. That just gives the music a special drive to it to me. The bass is the back bone of any band and when you have a really good solid driving bass sound, you can really feel the music. It plays the cds well and none of mine skipped at all. I got a black one and really like mine. The cd door is easy to open with a button, when you push it, it pops open. Then you push it shut with your finger. Cd's are fairly easy to load and unload from the player. It has a jack for headphones or another jack to add optimal speakers. There is also an option with this player to repeat and skip tracks or program tracks to play how you want them to. This was a fairly inexpensive portable cd player. I found that for the money I spent, this was an extremely good purchase. I am very pleased with my player. I would purchase it again and I highly recommend this player for adults, children and the elderly as well.So, to sum up, this is an awesome sounding little disc player. The sound quality is simply remarkable for listening to music cd's. It is very simple to use and one really needs no instructions to figure out how to run the machine. For the money, I believe it was an extremely great purchase. An investment no doubt.However, with all it's great qualities, I did find one thing that I don't like. And that is the volume control. Every time you put in a new cd and close the door, the volume control goes to a very high level. It was a little loud for my ears, so when the song started, I had to quickly turn down the volume. So, you just have to remember to check the volume after loading a new cd each time. If not, you will be blasted!!

Bought this player February of 2021. It played well and sound was good. But the unit didn't last. Stopped working for no reason by the end of September2022. I wouldn't recommend this CD player unless you don't mind shelling out money periodically for new a replacement.

It plays the CD, but the stop button doesn't work. Only way to get it to shut off is to take the batteries out, and the fm radio doesn't work.

Bought the CD to listen to CDs while I'm at the library - its nice and portable and does the job, love that it only uses AA batteries no worries on AC adapter or charging woes.Cons- Its not the quietest thing - you hear the motor sounds in the earphones when seeking and stopping.- The supplied earphones are cheap (Coby: you could have done better) - if you hook in better earphones you'll enjoy it much more. (good cheap cheap earphones - try JVC Gumy)It's a good inexpensive CD player but if you are looking for high quality you need to look for fancier models.

I like it but I have not Been able to figure out how to pause then resume. It always take me back to the beginning..
