Very comfortable
This is one of the most comfortable masks I’ve tried, and it’s usually pretty hard to find a comfortable mask for my small face. This mask also fits very well around the nose making it easy to equalize. The price is very reasonable for such a good quality mask.

Adjustable straps
Great mask. Very comfortable. Seals well. The one piece tempered glass lens makes for crystal clear viewing. Quick easy to use adjustable head straps. After removing the factory coating on the lens it didn't fog up during use. One of the best mask i have owned.

excellent quality mask
I bought two of these right before we went on vacation in the Carribean, and I thought they were of excellent quality. (I also bought two of their dry snorkels, which worked well for us.)The mask worked well for me, although I had to use some antifogging spray made with baby shampoo occasionally while snorkeling. (I carried a small spray bottle in the pocket of my snorkeling vest.)My husband has a thick mustache and couldn't get a good seal with the mask because of it, so he wound up using swim goggles for snorkeling since the mustache didn't matter with goggles. I'd read an idea online about using vaseline in the mustache to attempt to get a good seal with the mask, but he didn't like that idea, which turned out to be a good thing we didn't try that (see below). The Kraken company sent an email inquiry asking if the equipment was all right, so I responded with some questions about the fogging and the mustache problem when we got back from the trip. Kraken's owner replied, with some good advice that I'll copy below in case it will help others.Fogging:"When purchasing a new snorkeling mask, it is important to pre-treat your mask. Pre-treating your mask will help minimize fogging if not eliminate it. Even though you’ve already used your mask, you can still do the pre-treatment to help minimize fogging for future snorkeling. A very common method of pre-treating a mask is by using some toothpaste to treat it. Use some common white non-gritty, non-minty toothpaste. Avoid gel toothpaste as well. Take a thimble-sized amount of toothpaste and rub it on both sides of the lens while the lens is dry. With clean fingers, give it a good circular rubbing motion and cover the entire lens on both sides. Then rinse the lens while rubbing away the toothpaste. It can sometimes be difficult to remove the toothpaste around the edges but just use more water pressure or you can simply use a wet washcloth to clean it off. Once the toothpaste is rinsed away, dry the lens completely with a clean towel or rag. Repeat these steps a few times drying the lens in between each application. This should give you a good pre-treatment. For your next trip, I would pick up some good quality anti-fog spray/gel. There are some good options on Amazon.com that aren't very expensive. Some people find that their eyes are sensitive to these anti-fog spray/gels so it may or may not work for you or your husband. Some people choose to use alternative methods such as their own spit or even baby shampoo. It's up to you what to use but whichever method you choose, be sure to do it before you use the mask for the day and also be sure not to touch the lens after application. Do all this and your mask should give you a very clear view with no fogging while in the water. There is nothing more frustrating than a mask that is fogging up so it is certainly worth a little bit of effort up front." (from the Kraken email)I've since read the toothpaste suggestion on a Hawaiian dive company's web site, but it wasn't explained nearly as well. The mustache issue:"As you know, the leaking mask was almost certainly a result of your husband’s mustache not allowing the mask to make a proper seal. I can certainly understand your husband not wanting to put vaseline in his mustache. :) Using vaseline might help some but certainly won’t fix the problem. Also, using vaseline is known to damage silicone mask skirts so I wouldn’t really recommend using it.To answer your questions, I think you were on the right track with using some swimming goggles for your husband. I would recommend finding some good quality googles that have a silicone skirt along with some nose clips. They are kind of a mix between a swimming goggle and a snorkeling mask. This won’t work as well as a snorkeling mask but will be better than regular swimming goggles and give your husband the best chance at having a better snorkeling experience without shaving or trimming his mustache. Unfortunately we don’t offer this type of mask at this time but we do plan to offer something in early 2016." (from the Kraken email)I've since seen online the type of goggles with the silicone skirt that he's talking about, but I think I'll wait to get some. I'm impressed with Kraken's quality with the mask and snorkel, so I'll wait to get the goggles and will check to see if Kraken is selling them by the time we're planning another trip.

Great product, even greater service.
I used the Kraken Aquatics mask and snorkel on a recent trip to Hawaii. The mask fits nicely and does not leak, the strap adjustment are super easy, and the snorkel's one way purge valve works as advertised.I had an issue with my original shipment that I had to resolve quickly before leaving for vacation. Kraken contacted me on a Saturday and shipped the replacement, I believe, on the same day to ensure I had what I needed for my trip.

One hell of a mask.... From a Cave Diver..
I felt compelled to write this review because this is an absolutely excellent mask without a doubt. This review is my own review after using this mask quite a few times in Florida caves. I am a cave diver and nearly every weekend I go cave diving since I only live an hour an a half from cave country. All of my gear is high end as I like to buy the best and this is why I need to write about this mask. I own many high end masks from Atomic to Mares etc, masks fit faces differently; I had a hard time finding the right mask for me, double lenses is out of the question as all double lens masks I have tried just hurt the bridge of my nose or leak. It does not mean the masks I have bought suck, just means for me it is hard to find a good mask. So, to the meat and potatoes.. I came across this single lens mask and the looks was very attractive, the price at $27 you cannot beat it so I read the reviews and watch a video a older gentleman made, decided to order one mask and holy *$U@#% it felt amazing. Took it down to Ginnie springs the next time I went cave diving (of course I brought my other masks just in case) the mask worked amazing and felt amazing. Having said that I now I have bought 5 more of this mask. Why 5 more? Well very few times you come across a product that is well made, works flawlessly for me, and is at an amazing price. So, before the quality goes to s*** or the engineers that designed this mask decide to make unnecessary changes I will buy few more. It really is an amazing mask. Forgot to mention it held extremely well in a high flow cave like Little River, for those of you who have no idea what high current or high flow is ... take my word for it.The company did not give me a discount for my review; this is my own review after using the masks in many different caves. Although, I hope they give me a discount on my next purchase as I am planning to buy couple of more. I actually gave one of the mask I purchase to one of my cave buddies, he now uses that mask as his primary mask for all of his dive, his other mask now is the back up mask.Hope this review helps some of you out there looking at this product. Thanks to Denis for making that video on his review. To James Rail (The owner), hell of a product and thanks for the prompt shipping.Carlos

Really nice mask with no fogging ...
I picked this up in December 2023 and then took it to the Caribbean for some snorkeling. I had always heard to use some toothpaste on the inside of the glass to help with fogging and I did that before I used the mask .. not sure if it helped or not. I snorkeled for a bit and realized that the mask was staying clear the entire time which is a huge plus in a mask. Very happy with this purchase.

Good Mask, but uncomfortable.
Used this mask over a week in Cozumel, up to 90 feet. Works well, but if you have a moustache you have to shave the top part (like most masks) to get it to seal. you MUST "burn" the inside of the lense to get the silicone off or it will fog like CRAZY. this mask pushed on the ridge of my brow/nose right in the center and actually bruised it.that being said, it got the job done for a good price. and since the return window is over, I'll keep it as a backup.

Returned without using.
I returned mask without using. With wetsuit gloves on insufficient room to pinch your nose for equalizing pressure. I think it would be a good mask for snorkel use but not suitable for scuba or freediving, as they advertise. Also cost me $20.00 for return postage which was not refunded. Reordered a Mares X Free which I'm hoping will be more suitable.
